Expansion of Road 100 between Falsterbo and Vellinge (Stage DP1 & DP2)
Project description
Road 100 between Falsterbo and Vellinge is one of the busiest regional road sections in Skåne. To meet the increasing traffic volume and improve road safety, the Swedish Transport Administration is planning an extensive expansion of the road to a total of four lanes, two in each direction, on the section from the Stora Hammar roundabout to the Falsterbo Canal. The project also includes the construction of new stops with superbus standard, with the aim of streamlining and prioritizing public transport, including at the Nyckelhålsparken and Storvägen stops. The construction, which is expected to begin in mid-2026 after detailed plans and environmental permits have been approved, will be handled in stages to minimize traffic disruption during the project.
