Expansion of Väg 100 between Falsterbo and Vellinge (Stage DP1 & DP2)
Project description
Väg 100 between Falsterbo and Vellinge is one of the busiest regional road sections in Skåne. To meet the growing traffic volume and improve road safety, the Swedish Transport Administration is planning an extensive expansion of the road to a total of four lanes, two in each direction, on the stretch from the Stora Hammar roundabout to the Falsterbo Canal. The project also includes new bus stops built to super-bus standard, aimed at making public transport more efficient and giving it priority, including at the Nyckelhålsparken and Storvägen stops. Construction, expected to start in mid-2026 once detailed plans and environmental permits have been approved, will be carried out in stages to minimise traffic disruption during the project.
